Night Time, My Time (Expanded Edition)
A spec reissue of the beloved 2013 synthpop album. Sky Ferreira has dozens of unreleased tracks and B-sides that are unavailable on streaming services, which provides ample reason to create a reissue that expands upon the "Night Time, My Time" project.
The Cover
The original cover, shot by Gaspar Noé, is iconic as is, so I only wanted to enhance or exaggerate what was already there. I pushed the subject into a more dreamlike direction, silhouetting her body in light while keeping the same composition and expression.
Packaging
The double LP packaging features a tagline on the gatefold: "DREAMS STAY WITH YOU."
This is the first line of the first verse of this project's hit single "You're Not The One." It was many listeners' first introduction to the project, and it serves as a nostalgic reminder: "dreams stay with you," i.e. this album stayed with you.
The addition of the "peach pink" color echoes the palette of the covers for the original singles and provides an additional dimension to the packaging.
Poster Design
The wheatpaste posters feature the same motto.
