Fonts
The main typeface used is Gilroy. Its roundedness and legibility casts a friendly yet professional impression and is neutral enough to blend in with many differently-themed events that take place inside the church.

alive
The youth group, which originally did not have a name, is renamed into "alive", a declaration of a state of being and a mission statement of revitalization among the youth. The text-based logo is blocky and geometric, which gives off a youthful energy, and the letter "e" doubles as an abstract depiction of a smiling child.
With that abstract depiction, simple visuals can be created to give a more lively appearance to the youth ministry: different children with different hairstyles.
Brand Applications
Physical materials like brochures or bulletins create repeated contact with the rebrand, making the transition much smoother for the congregation. It also signals intentionality and investment in the future of the church.

30th Anniversary Event
A distinct way to announce this rebrand was through their 30th anniversary event, which not only celebrated the church's three decades in Melbourne, but also unveiled the new logo and design language to the congregation.
Modified versions of the original logo were created for the event.

The gold banner and turquoise-tinted olive tree photo were two motifs carried over between different marketing materials for this event: flyers and postcards.

As part of their 30th year celebration, their motto was "God did it", a tagline put onto posters and T-shirts created for the event.
